World of Warcraft – Rift – MMO

Shakes head to clear the cobwebs

Whew…… that is all I can really say about the last week or so. I went from some type of stomach bug to cluster migraines and finally I tweaked my back. Needless to say, I haven’t spent much time anywhere near my computer.

The little bit of time I could manage to sit at my machine was spent in SWTOR and working the AH in WoW. I didn’t really accomplish much on either front. It was gallant effort but rather fruitless none the less.

When I last played SWTOR I was somewhere around level 14/15 if I remember correctly. This kind of puts me in a strange position with group I play with. All of them have gone quite a bit passed level 15 and have in fact leveled an alt to 15 to play with me when I log in. I guess there is no chance of being a front runner in the game.

Isn’t it funny how the universe always finds a way to right itself? In WoW and Rift I leaned on someone else to help me find my way through. It looks like that will also happen in SWTOR. With everyone zooming past me, I now have a few resources available to help me along the way.

This post is just a quick update about where I have been and not really much more. I still plan to continue my thoughts on SWTOR in future posts. I want to take a look at flashpoints (instances) and Heroic quests (multi-player quests).

Have any of you taken the leap into SWTOR? What are your thoughts on the game? Anything in particular you like or dislike? Is there anything that you would like to see me cover here?
