It’s funny. I have had no desire to write. Not one iota. Honestly I am not sure why. When I started this blog nearly two years ago I forced myself to write almost everyday. Then as time went by writing became a habit. It was something I’d come to enjoy. It was scheduled part of my day.
There have been days when I would sit looking at a blank screen hoping that something would come pouring out of my finger tips. More often then not I would walk away for awhile and then I would come back to type and type. The words just flowed and articles would stack.
Lately things have been different. In the past two weeks I have had nothing to really say. Even as my guild has made marked progress in 1 Oman raiding and I am still enjoying the game, nothing has inspired me to write. Day after day I give the briefest of thoughts to GTFOOTF and day after day I post nothing.
I tend to think that some of this has to do with me having no clear direction with the blog. In the beginning it was about FailPlayers and WoW Gold. Then it slowly started to shift away from both of those topics. You can only write about those so often before the writing becomes tedious at best.
To avoid some of the doldrums of those topics, I tested the waters with a class guide. My first detailed guide was on caster druids in WoW. My latest guide is on Chloromancers in Rift. While each of those proved to be successful, once they are written they become static content until there is a major patch or update that has and effect on the class.
So now my blog stands at a cross roads. I have no idea which way I will go but I can tell you that I have no plans of abandoning the site. You can also rest assured that I will not fill it with canned content to try and make a pittance of an income on traffic. Since I am positive about what the site won’t become, now all I have to do is find some direction in what it will become.
To be brutally honest I don’t know if anyone is still reading this damn thing. I stopped checking traffic stats and analytics awhile back. I have never attempted to make money here so spending time pouring over traffic data seemed to be a fruitless endeavor. About the only thing I really used that information for in the past was to chuckle at some of the search terms that bring people here.
With all of that said I am sure something will come up and soon enough I will be writing once again.
Time for Coffee talk, talk amongst yourselves. I’ll give you a topic – how important is grammar in everyday life? For example, is it more important to make a thorough correct statement when speaking to someone, or is it better to just say something and hope your idea gets across. Is l33t sp33k okay? Or does it just make people sound retarded?
Another topic, has Gevlon lost “it”? And what is “it” in the first place?

Hi there – I just started following couple days ago. As a chloro-lock and new to lvl 50, I find your posts on post 1.3 chloro healing very encouraging. Please keep up (whenever you can) and I’ll be visiting here off and on.
