Chloromancer Frustrations – 1.3

As most of you are well aware 1.3 completely changed the Chlormancer experience. You can bet your ass my guildies have heard more than their fair share of my whining like a little bitch. I am not happy to say the least. Realistically there is nothing I can do about it so I am going to suck it up and learn to rock Chloro once again.

Trion hit Chloros with a monster nerf, pain and simple. I am not sure what drove this but I have a sneaking suspicion it had to do with how effective a good Chloromancer could be. For the longest time the general Rift population considered Chloro’s to be support healers. There are a few of us out there that no better. In 1.2 Chloromacers could tank heal and group heal. A really good Chloromancer could do both simultaneously. Other healing classes, not so much.

In order to soften the blow Trion gave us a few new toys and the possibility to get close to what we once were. The only catch, spend 51 points in the tree. With that much of investment we lost the survivability of the Warlock tree as well as the 10% self dps buff.

With all the changes my Chlormancer Guide is out of date. I am working on the revision now and it should be up and running early next week. Please be patient with me as sort through all of the information out there that will allow me to have some definitive information that is born of frustrations.
