There are a few changes/tweaks for Chlormancers in the patch. None of them appear to be a game breaker either way. So far the list is rather short but there is a point or two that I felt I should highlight.
- Nature’s Touch – Nothing much here, just an update to the description. Apparently it was confusing some folks.
- Lifegiving Veil (LGV) – Fixed an issue with heals from LGV receiving a bonus from the casters Spell Power twice.
- With Spell Power being so far down on stat priority, this one slipped under my radar. We can’t really consider this one a nerf it is more of a bug fix.
- Corrosion – Fixed an issue that prevented Corrosion from triggering healing from LGV. While this is only a bug fix, it is also in our favor. I would often cast Corrosion during AoE pulls. The additional healing is a welcomed improvement.
Seed of Life and Soul Tether – Can no longer be cast on a pet. All I can say about this one is, if you were using either of these on a pet, you are doing it wrong!
So far patch 1.2 remains primarily positive for the Chlormancer. I do plan on doing some tinkering to see how stacking Spell Power will effect my healing/dps. I won’t be changing my primary build but I will be playing with gear. It is actually more of an experiment than anything else.
