World of Warcraft – Rift – MMO

A Quick Check In

Whew… What a week! I hope everyone had a safe holiday (for those that celebrate). I mentioned earlier that I would be busy with other stuff, and busy is an understatement. It has been hectic but now things to be settling down.

About the only gaming I have done is logging into WoW to collect gold. I still can’t believe that after an 8-9 month break from the game all of my old gold methods still work. Crazy. But they still work so I will keep (ab)using them. I might as well stack as much gold as I can before the expansion. My little Pandaren Monk will need every advantage, right?

Speaking of the expansion, I will also have to grab all of the BoA gear I am missing as well. This will really help speed the leveling process some. I have 22 pieces right now but there are a few I am missing. So I am going to make up a list of what I have versus what is missing and get busy rounding those items up.

What about you all? What are you planning to do to help the leveling process once Mists of Pandaria drops?

  1. I’m going to bank 1 mill on Khaas, then the rest is going toward server firsts and development in the xpac. I’ve already got the name saved for my Monk, but I’m going to be going for server first DK, but after the initial rush is over, I’ll be on the Monk, Futaba.

Server first would be nice! I am not too worried about a name for my monk just yet. I can usually come up with something.

I’ve considered returning to Warcraft in time for 4.3, but if I’m going to return, I’m probably not going to want to remain on my home realm (Eastern time realm while I’m Pacific time) simply because doing a group activity at 4 or 5 PM can be a royal pain in the arse.
With eighteen characters on my home realm over two accounts, seventeen of which are over level 70, I’m not looking forward to the costs associated with that.
I might check out TOR, but I’m also still looking forward to Guild Wars II. From what I’ve seen of it, it’s a MUCH more innovative game.

Bloodscalp is on Mtn. time, one hour difference from PST. Rejoin … and blame Kauzmo, like I do, err did.
